Awards to USA, Virgin Islands, and Canada eighth-grade students to recognize exceptional pieces of writing. Submissions may be made in any genre of writing. The purpose of the program is to recognize the talents of young writers and to emphasize the significance of writing skills.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Schools in the United States, Canada, Virgin Islands and American Schools Abroad are eligible to nominate eighth-grade students. Nominating schools must be US accredited.
