Grant Description
Grants to Alaska nonprofit public safety and emergency services organizations, including EMS and fire departments, for services and programs to benefit residents in eligible locations. Grant funds may be requested to support operations or for program development. Proposals must benefit residents of the Denali Borough.
Nonprofit emergency services and public safety organizations, including fire departments and emergency response organizations, that provide local programs and services that will benefit citizens of the Denali Borough.
Grant programs must be administered by an eligible nonprofit organization within the state of Alaska.
Denali Borough Code Chapter 3.21.231 provides the emergency services and public safety grant program to assist eligible nonprofit emergency services and public safety organizations, including fire departments and emergency response organizations. Organizations providing non-emergency response related services will be eligible if over 50% of their operations are dedicated to Fire and EMS services.

Grant funds may not be used for indirect purchases for gift cards, contractor cards, or other lines of credit.
