Grant Description

Grants to USA children for projects that have a positive impact on local neighborhoods, communities, or schools. Funding is intended for initiatives and activities that are developed and implemented by children, with the goal of encouraging and spreading kindness to others. Eligible applicants are between 4 and 18 years of age.

Senders Pediatrics is excited to announce their Bee K.I.N.D. Grants (Kid, Initiated, Nice, Deeds).

All funds granted must be used for the projects carried out by the child/ren named on the application. The intent of these grants is for young people to be involved in developing and carrying out their own projects dedicated to spreading kindness. Their goal is to empower children to see that their own kind actions make a positive difference in the world.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be between 4-18 years of age.

Applications may be submitted by an individual or by siblings in the same family.

Pre-Application Information

Grant submissions will be accepted through Friday, February 17 at 4pm.

Students whose grants have been selected will be notified by email by Friday, February 24, 2023.

The application should be completed in the child’s words. All applicants must have an adult supervising their project. The adult will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed and that the funds are used solely for the intended purpose. The grant check will be made payable to the supervising adult.

Only one grant will be awarded per family.

Grant recipients are expected to document and share with Senders Pediatrics photos connected to their kindness project/event. These photos may be shared with their larger Pediatric practice and also at the annual Family Kindness Festival scheduled for April 30, 2023.
