Grant Description

In-kind donations of solar lights and power banks to USA, Canada, and International organizations and businesses to benefit underserved populations. The program is intended to assist nonprofits, for-profits, and groups that support work in the areas of homelessness, disaster response, education, and health. The purpose of the program is to improve the lives of people living without electricity by bringing them light and power-generation products.

Every year Unite to Light donates solar light and power through Luke Lights and Chandler Chargers to people living without electricity. These solar products go to on-the-ground partners to support work in education, disaster response, global health, and homelessness across the globe.

Businesses and organizations across the globe may apply.

Pre-Application Information

The first grant cycle opened on January 23rd and closes February 28, 2023. Applicants will be notified within 4-6 weeks of their status.

Organizations may apply once per calendar year.

Applicants waitlisted will be considered for future cycles that calendar year and need not apply again. Depending on funding there may be more than one grant cycle.
