Grants to Alaska high school sports teams in eligible locations to cover the costs of sports equipment. Funding is intended for expenses such as jerseys, helmets, shoes, and gear to benefit the entire team. Sports teams must participate in a community service project for each grant awarded. Eligible applicants are Anchorage public high school flag football/football teams.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Anchorage School District High School football and flag football teams are eligible for this grant. If the football or flag football team has a booster club with 501(c)3 status with the IRS or PTA, they may apply on behalf of the team.

Grant applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. AKST on Friday, March 10th, 2023.
Estimated Size of Grant
- Anchorage public high school flag football teams may apply for grants of up to $1,300.
- Anchorage public high school football teams may apply for grants of up to $6,500.
