Grants and in-kind assistance to USA businesses to support business expansion. Funding is intended to help small business owners build their businesses. Applicants must describe how they overcame a past business challenge or how they are addressing a current challenge. Grant funds will be awarded to a grand prize winner and a runner-up. All finalists will receive a free year of Nav Business Boost.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Small businesses in the United States may apply.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and have a U.S.-based billing address.

Pre-Application Information:

Entries are accepted until October 26th, 2021, Voting closes October 28th, 2021.

The team will select and notify the Grand Prize and Runner-Up winners in late November 2021.

The team will formally announce the winners in mid December 2021, and the next round of Nav’s Small Business Grant will open.

To apply:
1. Be a Nav customer or sign up for a free Nav Account.
2. Fill out form at the URL for Full Text (RFP) link, below.
3. Post on your business’s Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn account (do not use a story as your entry post — this will disqualify you). Include #navsmallbusinessgrant in your entry and explain the following:
- What your business does
- A challenge your business has overcome in the past and a challenge you continue to struggle with
- How the grant funds will help you overcome your challenge and detailed specifics about how you plan to use the prize money
- New! Share your unique voting link from step 2 in your post (or with your link in bio for Instagram) and encourage your followers and customers to vote for your business. Individuals can only vote for a business one time during each grant round.
4. Continue to encourage your followers and customers to vote for your business with your unique voting link. The votes will be used to narrow down the top 200 businesses. Social media posts of the top 200 businesses will be reviewed and Nav will verify that they have created a Nav account to choose the finalists.

After you complete the process, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know that Nav has received your application and providing your unique voting link.
