A fellowship program is available to USA and Canada Jewish young adults who are sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates to participate in a startup accelerator based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Participants will form multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative tech startups.

The program provides participants with an accelerator experience in Tel Aviv, the best start-up ecosystem outside the U.S. as they form multidisciplinary teams and develop innovative technological start-ups. Excel empowers Fellows by providing space (physical and mental), resources, a strong network, mentorship, and an environment of like-minded individuals with varying skillsets.

By the end of the summer, participants of the Excel Ventures Program will be prepared to move forward with the start-ups they formed during the program or launch new technological ventures.

Value Proposition:
-A 10-week noise-free environment to focus exclusively on your start-up.
-Collaborate with talented American and Israeli co-founders.
-Gain real experience launching a start-up.
-Receive ongoing mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and industry.
-Join the Excel community of over 570 motivated Americans and Israelis and receive support in future ventures.
-Benefit from a services package from Excel Ventures partners (legal advice, financial services, strategic consulting, hosting and cloud services, and more).

General Information:

The Excel Ventures track is an intensive 10-week entrepreneurship training program focused on practice and “getting out of the building” meant for aspiring entrepreneurs from leading academic institutions. During the program, the participants undergo an accelerated process of venture creation starting from team formation, ideation, and validation to creating a technological start-up while being mentored by over 100 of Israel’s leading experts from the hi-tech community. At least 2-3 times during each week (in the evening after work) and on many weekends, there is additional MANDATORY programming focused on the development of leadership skills and business and political awareness. Birthright Israel Excel Fellows have the unique opportunity to be exposed to a group of professionals with vast intellectual resources who will broaden their understanding of the Israeli business, political and academic spectrum. These leaders give their insight into advancing global connections through entrepreneurship, innovation, perseverance and passion.

Birthright Israel Excel is a lifelong fellowship engaging talented, creative Jewish young adults interested in business and entrepreneurship. Following their summer experience in Israel, Fellows continue to engage with Excel’s network of innovative and motivated individuals through events and collaboration opportunities. The Excel Leadership Board along with the diverse network of Fellows, currently 550 strong, actively drive engagement and organize professional events, philanthropic ventures, and social gatherings. The Fellows are geographically dispersed throughout North America and Israel.
