WISH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential support services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. WISH is located Ketchikan and serves over 17 communities Southern Southeast Alaska. These include the communities of Ketchikan, Saxman, Wrangell, Prince of Wales Island, Metlakatla, and Hyder. Currently, WISH has a 32-Bed facility that is open 7 says a week, 24 hours each day. Services provided cross all racial, ethnic, economic, and social groups. Our clients range age from infant to the elderly with diverse psychological, emotional, and physical abilities/needs. WISH also routinely serves various stages of prenancy. WISH is the only DV organization with the ability to work at this capacity Southern Southeast Alaska.

WE SERVE AND ADVOCATE OF ALL VIOLENT CRIMES, INDLUDING ASSUALT, ARSON, ROBBERY, KIDNAPPING, ELDER ABUSE, BULLYING, HATE CRIMES, AND DRUNK DRIVING. WE ALSO HELP SURVIVING FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF HOMICIDE .

To operate an engagement center which provides peer support, resources and directed programs to help consumers, homeless persons and those recovering from substance abuse.

THE PROVIDES LOCAL SUPPORT FOR THE VETERANS IN THE COMMUNITY. THEY PROVIDE A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT ALONG WITH ACTIVITIES, MEALS AND ENTERTAINMENT. THEY VOLUNTEER TO HELP THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH EMERGENCY SERVICES, SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL GRADUATING SENIORS; THEY ALSO PROVIDE THE COLOR GUARD FOR LOCAL CEREMONIES. FACILITIES ARE USED FOR FUNDRAISING FOR THE COMMUNITY. SUPPORT GROUPS FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. PROVIDE FAMILY ACTIVITIES DURING HOLIDAYS. RIGHT NOW THEY ARE PREPARING 48 DOZEN EGGS FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT FOR THE COMMUNITY. PROVIDE CHRISTMAS and THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN NEED.
